A central vacuum cleaner system consists of a motor unit, a piping system with bends and fittings, inlet valves, dust covers or nozzles and a receiving tray or container. The latter is usually mounted under the motor and placed in the cellar, garage or storage. In this way vacuum cleaning is hardly ever noisy. The inlets are mounted in such a way that the whole dwelling can be reached. The pipes are mostly positioned under the floor, in the wall or in a dummy ceiling.
